Snow in the high desert

 

Some years it snows in this usually arid part of the country. This storm brought around 3 inches of the stuff, and it remained so cold that more than a week later, snow still covered the shady parts of the yard.

It's all melted now, some 2 weeks later, and will likely remain dry for the next few weeks.
