. . . and most of my trees are coming to life again.
The redbuds are particularly beautiful in Spring when their flowers appear.
These largest of the redbuds I planted are the only ones that bloom in the Spring, so far. They are a hardy tree, putting down a tap root almost to China (ha-ha). Some of the smaller trees of the 30 or so that I planted 4 years ago don't get must water and still they're showing green leaves, letting me know they're alive, giving me hope that they, too, will one day be covered with these delightful pink flowers.
